Elio Altare's Dolcetto d'Alba, made in 10,000 to 15,000 bottles a year from vines averaging 20 to 40 years old.
Tasting notes
Deep purple red. Elegant aromas of violet and small red fruits. Dry and soft on the palate, tannins present but gentle, with an intense flavour of red fruit.
Pairs well with
Ideal as an aperitif, and with starters, first courses, white meats, sandwiches and pizza.
