Barolo Serradenari

By Dosio Vigneti, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy

Dosio Vigneti Barolo Serradenari

Dosio's first vintage from the Serradenari cru was 2003; the winery has farmed the whole south-facing side of this, the highest MGA in the Barolo denomination, since its own founding here in 1974.

Tasting notes

Garnet red, with aromas of violet, rose and cherry that evolve into a pleasant balsamic and hay note; dry and well-rounded, with a good balance between acidity and the noble tannins of Nebbiolo.

Pairs well with

Braised meats, red meats, aged cheeses, game
