Barolo Fossati Riserva
By Dosio Vigneti, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy
Dosio's first Riserva, released in 2008, comes from the Fossati cru on the La Morra/Barolo boundary, the vineyard that has carried Dosio's name since 1982.
Tasting notes
Garnet red with light orange reflections, with aromas of violet, rose and hay evolving into pleasant notes of spice and tobacco; full-bodied, with a good balance between tannin and acidity that gives it long ageing potential.
Pairs well with
Braised meats, red meats, aged cheeses, game
