Red
Nebbiolo
By Davide Carlone, Alto Piemonte, Piemonte, Italy
The estate's varietal Nebbiolo, a Colline Novaresi DOC aged at least 20 months in steel and released two years after harvest.
Tasting notes
Very intense and bright ruby red. Vivid notes of small red fruits, cherry and blood orange, alongside floral hints of violet, peony and rose, wrapped in a subtle, delicate spiciness. Full-bodied and enveloping on the palate with an excellent tannic structure that expresses its terroir, outstanding persistence and a savoury, fresh finish.
Pairs well with
Meat-based dishes and delicate first courses. Excellent with cured meats and aged cheeses.
