Red
La Cialoia
By Cerutti, Asti, Piemonte, Italy
A single-vintage Barbera d'Asti from a Barbera vineyard planted more than 30 years ago, named for the lark (cialoia in Piedmontese) and dedicated to the family's grandfather, a wine lover.
Tasting notes
Intense red colour, with aromas of ripe fruit, especially cherry, and sweet spices like vanilla; the palate is intense, full bodied and persistent.
Pairs well with
Good with cured meats and fresh or aged cheeses, first courses such as ravioli al plin, and red meat main courses.
