Rovereto Vignavecchia is Castellari Bergaglio's Gavi DOCG del Comune di Gavi from a vineyard of more than 80 years, including pre-phylloxera vine stock, near the estate's cellar in the Rovereto hamlet; the 2018 vintage won gold at the Mundus Vini competition.
Tasting notes
Already very enjoyable on release, it grows more enjoyable in the years that follow. Correctly stored, it keeps its characteristics for several years.

- Vinification
- Grapes are left to macerate for many hours at low temperature, then gently pressed. Fermentation, always temperature-controlled at 18-20°C to preserve the Cortese di Gavi's typical aromatic richness, proceeds very slowly, also for 20 days. Bottled in spring and aged in bottle for 12 months before release.
