Red
Sonvico
By Cascina La Barbatella, Nizza, Piemonte, Italy
A Barbera-Cabernet Sauvignon blend from the estate's oldest vines, first produced in 1995 and long aged before release.
Tasting notes
An austere, structured and intriguing wine born of the estate's oldest Barbera and Cabernet Sauvignon vines: the Cabernet's firm tannin and the Barbera's freshness, built to reward long cellaring. The winery calls it a wine that carries the memory and history of the estate since its beginnings.
