Tasting notes

Made only in the best years from the nine best-exposed rows of the Vigna dell'Angelo, vinified and aged in 500-litre barrels for as long as the wine itself dictates. The estate calls it the most noble and austere expression of Nizza, built to defy time.

Vinification
Destemmed and crushed, then fermented on the skins in temperature-controlled steel tanks at 26 to 28°C for 15 to 20 days with frequent pumping over and punching down; malolactic fermentation in tonneau. Aged 24 to 30 months in 500-litre French oak tonneaux, then 6 to 12 months in bottle before release.
