Cascina Galarin Rivella

A Piemonte DOC Pinot Nero from the Rivella vineyard, foot-crushed and aged a year in wood.

Tasting notes

Intense ruby red, with an explosive, powerful and generous nose of plum, citron and grapefruit with spicy overtones, gradually showing violet aromas in the glass. Full and intense on the palate, with soft, round, velvety tannins.

Grapes are not destemmed but crushed by foot, followed by a 3-day cold maceration. It spends about one year in wood before being bottled unfiltered during a waning moon.
