Tasting notes
Ruby red, complex and full-bodied, with intense aromas of dried roses, licorice, spice and truffle. Elegant, with strong, balanced, silky tannins and a long, persistent finish.

- Village of Castagnole Lanze, between the Langhe and Monferrato, on Guyot-trained vines planted at a density of 5,000 plants per hectare, at an altitude between 250 and 370m.

- Light destemming followed by a 15-day alcoholic fermentation in steel vats with light pumping over, at 26 to 30°C. Maceration lasts about 30 days, after which the wine goes into barrels for malolactic fermentation. It then spends about two years in wood, 8 months in barriques and tonneaux sur lies followed by 12 months in 15-hectolitre casks, is bottled unfiltered during a waning moon, and rests at least 6 months in bottle.
