Nebbiolo Amphorae

By Cascina Corte, Dogliani, Piemonte, Italy

Cascina Corte Nebbiolo Amphorae

Amphora-fermented and aged Langhe DOC Nebbiolo, showing finer, silkier tannins than the steel/wood version.

Tasting notes

Garnet red colour. The nose opens with varietal notes of dried rose, violet and wet earth, giving the wine a spiced aroma; fine and honeyed on the palate, the roughness of the variety in amphora gives way to fine, silky tannins with improved roundness. A wine for ageing.

Pairs well with

Red meats, game, octopus.
