Rosé

Matilde

By Cascina Corte, Dogliani, Piemonte, Italy

Cascina Corte Matilde

An estate rosato named Matilde, vivid pink with fresh red-fruit aromas and a taut, juicy palate.

Tasting notes

An eye-catching, vivid rosé colour with violet veining. The nose is dominated by fresh floral and, especially, fruity aromas: raspberry, plum and cherry define the profile, with a balsamic touch in the background. The palate is straight and taut, with a juicy, acidic backbone running through the whole tasting, to a lightly tannic finish.

Pairs well with

An extraordinary companion for the warm season: try it with white meats and fish dishes with tomatoes and olives.
