Cascina Chicco Ovello

A Barbaresco DOCG from the historic Ovello cru, aged 24 months in wood and 6 months in bottle.

Tasting notes

Medium intense garnet red. Expressive, precise nose with fruity aromas of marasca cherry and floral violet. Well balanced on the palate with spicy black pepper and liquorice notes; elegant, velvety, rich and persistent, with a soft, spicy, mentholated finish.

Pairs well with

Red meat, braised and stewed meats, game, well-aged cheeses.
