Tasting notes
Deep, intense colour. Rich, elegant aromas of fruit with liquorice and violet in the background. Full and structured on the palate, refined, with a persistent, long finish.
Pairs well with
Important first courses, red meat, and long-aged cheese.

- Altitude 320-350 m; dense planting of about 5,000 vines per hectare, aiming for medium-small bunches
- Vinification
- Grape maturation is tracked by sampling and analysis before harvest to pick the optimum moment. Hand-harvested using perforated 18-20 kg crates. Fermented in steel for about 10 days at a controlled 25-26 C. Aged 15 months in wood and at least 6 months in bottle before release.
