Red

By Cantina Roggero, Monferrato, Piemonte, Italy
The estate's Superiore-level Albugnano DOC, named for Albugnano's roughly 549-metre altitude and aged 18 months in oak tonneau.
Tasting notes
Intense ruby red. Small red fruit aromas with spicy notes of pepper, cocoa and toasted hazelnut, and balsamic hints. Full-bodied and structured on the palate, with soft, elegant tannins.
Pairs well with
Full-flavoured first and second courses, especially roasts and game, cured meats and aged cheeses.
