Barolo DOCG from 100% Nebbiolo, a village-level bottling from the estate's vineyards around Monforte d'Alba.

Tasting notes

Bright, intense garnet red with delicate orange reflections. Clean, broad aroma with enveloping notes of plum, violet, cinnamon, cherry and licorice. Full, harmonious and warm on the palate, with a persistent, pleasant finish.

Vinification
Red fermentation with daily punch-downs and controlled-temperature fermentation, maceration for 20-25 days; malolactic fermentation follows the alcoholic fermentation. Aged in small oak barrels for 15 months, then 10 months in 25-hectolitre barrels, then a further 12 months in bottle before release.
