A reserve from one selected hectare of Basarin, made only in some vintages.
Tasting notes
Vivid garnet with intense orange highlights as it ages. Blackberry and raspberry on the nose with balsamic notes; enveloping and harmonious, with tannins set against freshness.
Pairs well with
Stewed game, quail, roast guinea fowl, mushrooms, aged cheeses and stewed lamb.

- Destemmed and crushed; spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel at 27 to 28 C with about 30 days of submerged-cap maceration; spontaneous malolactic in steel; about 24 months in large oak barrels (30 to 50 hl), then about 18 months in bottle.
