Mauro Molino
Mauro Molino began bottling in 1982 with Barolo Conca, after years studying agronomy and oenology. In the 1990s he added vineyards, among them Berri on the western slope of La Morra. His children now run the estate: Matteo, who joined in 2003 after the oenological school in Alba, looks after vineyards and production, and Martina, who arrived in 2008, handles communication and sales. The cellar sits in the Annunziata Gancia hamlet of La Morra and vinifies each Barolo vineyard separately, so Gallinotto, Bricco Luciani, La Serra and Conca each get their own bottling. The range also includes Barbaresco, Barbera d'Alba, Langhe Nebbiolo, Dolcetto and Chardonnay, Roero Arneis, and a newer Barbera d'Asti from Costigliole d'Asti. La Morra is one of the communes of the Barolo DOCG zone.
