White
Sarun
By Stefanino Costa, Roero, Piemonte, Italy
A Roero Arneis from the Sarun vineyard at 348 m on clayey-sandy soil, aged 6 months on the fine lees in steel.
Tasting notes
Pale straw yellow, with an inviting nose: pear, grapefruit and aromatic herbs stand out and, with ageing, evolve into citrus hints. Warm and soft on the palate, with a lovely savoury, mineral finish.

- Fermentation takes place in steel tanks on the free-run must at a controlled temperature of 13 °C for the thiolic fraction and 17 °C for the terpenic one (the fractions are then blended for ageing). Once fermentation is complete, the wine is aged in steel vats for 6 months on the fine lees.
