Gepin Riserva
By Stefanino Costa, Roero, Piemonte, Italy
The Riserva of the Roero DOCG from Gepin, the estate's highest vineyard, aged at least 3 years in a single type of wood.
Tasting notes
Very intense on the nose, where gentian and other officinal herbs dominate, elegantly tied together by a note of jam. Supported by a remarkable tannic weave and a striking, varied blend of blackberry, raspberry and wild-strawberry preserves. Long on the aftertaste, ethereal in its aromas.
