A Nebbiolo d'Alba from a 0.80 hectare south-east facing plot at 270 m. Djun is the Piedmontese word for the knot on a vine shoot from which new buds grow.
Tasting notes
Clear garnet colour. Fruity, typical bouquet of raspberry, geranium and wild strawberry, with spicy hints of cinnamon and vanilla. Velvety and harmonious on the palate.
Pairs well with
Tasty fish dishes such as anchovies in green sauce or spicy fish soups, pasta with ragu, truffle dishes, roast and grilled meat, cheeses.
