Red
Valmaggiore
By Orlando Abrigo, Barbaresco, Piemonte, Italy
From steep, sandy vineyards in the Valmaggiore cru of the Roero, low-yielding and too steep for machinery, worked entirely by hand ("Tutto a mano").
Tasting notes
This Nebbiolo d'Alba presents a brilliant garnet hue, offering an aromatic bouquet of red cherry, rose petals, and a hint of tar. On the palate, it is structured with firm tannins and a persistent finish of red fruit and earthy undertones.
