A Barbaresco made in purity from the Rosé biotype of Nebbiolo, whose scientific clone name is CN-111, the result of a ten-year project. The variety fell out of favour with growers in the 1990s, when the market favoured deeper colour and more intense flavour than the paler, more aromatic Rosé biotype gives compared to the more common Lampia and Michet.
Tasting notes
Delicate colour with a broad, penetrating aromatic spectrum of violet and rose, developing curious notes of spice and leather with age.
