Rongalio
By Orlando Abrigo, Barbaresco, Piemonte, Italy
Made only in the best vintages, from the oldest and most valued vines in the Meruzzano Mention. Sold as Riserva since the 2011 vintage. The 2-hectare Rongalio parcel is vinified in three separate portions, from the drier upper section to the richer, fresher lower ground.
Tasting notes
The iron- and zinc-rich soil gives the wine a strong personality and a marked propensity for ageing.
