Red
Mervisano
By Orlando Abrigo, Barbaresco, Piemonte, Italy
Selected from the best lots of old vines bordering the Barbaresco territory, in the Roreto locality spanning Trezzo Tinella and Neviglie. The estate describes it as an important Barbera with strong ageing potential. "Superiore" appears on the bottle label though not in the site's own wine description.
Tasting notes
This Barbera d'Alba Superiore presents a deep ruby hue, offering an aromatic nose of ripe red cherries and plums, complemented by a palate that is vibrant and juicy with a persistent, fresh finish.
