White
D'Amblé
By Orlando Abrigo, Barbaresco, Piemonte, Italy
A varietal Sauvignon from two estate parcels, one in Treiso and a cooler, north-east facing plot in Trezzo Tinella. The label carries no DOC or DOCG designation.
Tasting notes
The Sauvignon d'Amblé exhibits a brilliant straw color, with characteristic notes of elderflower, gooseberry, and a hint of passionfruit on the nose. The palate is vibrant and fresh, with a zesty acidity and a persistent, aromatic finish.
