White
Solevento
By Mauro Rei, Monferrato, Piemonte, Italy
Arneis from a cool valley site below Sala, a dry white made for young drinking.
Tasting notes
Straw yellow. Delicate white flower aromas followed by a dry taste with a slightly bitter almond finish. Best drunk young, though it keeps a few years in bottle.
Pairs well with
Everyday meals, aperitifs with cured meats and fried snacks, cheeses, fish, white meats, light risottos, salads
