Suciaja is La Colombera's wine from Nibiò, a local grape related to Dolcetto grown on clayey soils. The producer says it stands the test of time, changing character over about a decade in the cellar.
Tasting notes
Intense ruby colour with spicy aromas and a fine but persistent impact of fruit and flowers; pepper, vanilla and tobacco merge with red fruit. Young, it shows freshness and fragrance; ten years after harvest, spicier and more ethereal notes emerge, carried by a long, delicate, velvety tannin.
