Vigna San Pietro

By Fontanafredda, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy

Fontanafredda Vigna San Pietro

After roughly thirty years, this 1996-planted parcel returns to being bottled on its own — one of three new single-vineyard Barolos debuted from the 2022 vintage, from deep-rooted vines within the MGA Fontanafredda monopole.

Tasting notes

Austere elegance and tension, with a refined, deep profile built to evolve. The most vertical side of Serralunga terroir.

Pairs well with

Braised meats, aged cheeses, dishes built for a structured, age-worthy Barolo
