By Fontanafredda, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy

Fontanafredda Vigna Gatinera 96 Mesi Riserva

The third of four progressive disgorgements (72/84/96/108 months) of Fontanafredda's single-parcel Pinot Nero Alta Langa Riserva, from the 2016 vintage.

Tasting notes

Golden colour with green highlights; fine, persistent perlage; deep aromas of white-fleshed fruit, toasted nuts and fresh bread, gaining further complexity and creaminess from its extended lees aging

Pairs well with

Aperitif, richer first courses, shellfish, aged cheeses
