By Fontanafredda, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy

Fontanafredda Vigna Gatinera 120 Mesi Riserva

The extended-aging edition of Fontanafredda's single-parcel Pinot Nero Alta Langa Riserva, from the 2015 vintage, pushing the progressive Vigna Gatinera disgorgement series beyond its original four stages.

Tasting notes

Golden colour with green highlights; fine, persistent perlage; deep, toasty aromas of white-fleshed fruit, dried nuts and fresh bread, showing the most evolved, creamy profile of the Vigna Gatinera range

Pairs well with

Aperitif, richer first courses, shellfish, aged cheeses
