White
Viadelsale
By Fontanafredda, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy
Named for the historic "via del sale" salt road linking Liguria to the Langhe, this blend unites Arneis (sweetness and drinkability) from the lower Langa with Sauvignon Blanc (structure, perfume) and Viognier (body, elegance) from the upper hills.
Tasting notes
Intense straw yellow; rich floral and fruity nose developing honey, acacia and exotic fruit with age; full-bodied, persistent and balanced on the palate
Pairs well with
Aperitif, light appetizers, fish-based first courses
