White
Marin
By Fontanafredda, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy
Named for the "marin," the sea wind that crosses the Langhe hills, this Riesling-Nascetta blend is built for real aging, spending three years in bottle before release.
Tasting notes
Luminous straw yellow with a very fresh nose of white peach, citrus and rosemary, turning mineral with time. The acidity is classic Riesling, balanced by a savoury richness and a long, intense finish.
Pairs well with
Shellfish, delicate seafood, light appetizers
