Duilio Dacasto Vianus

A Monferrato Bianco from Arneis planted at Agliano Terme, first made in 1999.

Tasting notes

Pale straw yellow with slight greenish reflections. Broad, fresh nose with good fruit intensity, sweet notes and evident floral hints typical of Arneis. Fresh, savoury, harmonious, with good structure and balanced acidity.

Pairs well with

Ideal as an aperitif or with starters, pasta and fish main courses.

Vinification
Hand harvest in 20 kg perforated crates, soft pressing and a short cold settling of the must; fermentation at a controlled 12°C in stainless steel. No malolactic fermentation. Three to four months on its own lees in stainless steel, bottled the winter after harvest, two months in bottle. First vintage 1999. About 5,000 bottles (0.75 l).
