Rocca delle Marasche

By Deltetto, Roero, Piemonte, Italy

Deltetto Rocca delle Marasche

Named after 'marasca', a variety of cherry once commonly grown in Roero vineyards, this wine comes from a vineyard in the village of Castellinaldo. Green harvesting allows the remaining grapes to overmature on the vine, and it is produced only in the very best vintages.

Tasting notes

Deep ruby color with violet reflections; nose of baked red fruit, cherries and sweet spices, followed by warmth, structure and elegance in the mouth.

Pairs well with

Pairs well with main courses or simply as a meditation wine. Good with bagna cauda.
