Rocche di Castiglione
By Ceretto, Alba, Piemonte, Italy
The newest addition to Ceretto's single-vineyard Barolo range, from a cool, steep, southeast-facing site in Castiglione Falletto vinified at the Bricco Rocche Winery alongside Brunate, Prapò and Cannubi San Lorenzo.
Tasting notes
Sambuca, cola, aniseed and dried flowers on the nose; tense and mineral on the palate, with ripe, silky tannins and a saline finish
Pairs well with
Braised beef, mature Piedmontese cheeses, game
