Red
Barolo
By Ceretto, Alba, Piemonte, Italy
Ceretto's classic Barolo DOCG, deliberately built to let the appellation's two "souls" coexist in one glass: the gentler, more perfumed character of the western slopes and the more austere, structured character of Serralunga to the east.
Tasting notes
Soft notes of rose petal, cigar box and red forest berries; rich and virile on the palate, with firm tannins built for both early drinking and long aging
Pairs well with
Brasato al Barolo, game, aged cheeses, white truffle dishes
