Red
Barbaresco
By Ceretto, Alba, Piemonte, Italy
Ceretto's classic, traditional-style Barbaresco: a blend of a small parcel of Asili, their youngest-vine holding, with the lower, fuller part of Bernadot in Treiso, built for immediate harmony between the two crus' contrasting characters rather than single-vineyard intensity.
Tasting notes
Bright ruby-garnet with aromas of rose petal, sour cherry, blackberry preserve and a hint of sealing wax and tobacco; juicy, open-knit palate with fine tannins and lively acidity
Pairs well with
Tajarin with meat ragù, braised veal, aged Toma cheese
