Ravera Riserva
By Cascina Lo Zoccolaio, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy
The Ravera cru Barolo Riserva, from the estate's Ravera vineyard in Novello, aged 42 months in large Slavonian oak casks.
Tasting notes
Ruby red with crystalline brilliance. Intense, full and persistent nose recalling dried roses, alpine flowers and noble wood. Great structure, balanced by ripe tannins, with lingering aromas and good acidity.
Pairs well with
Substantial red meat dishes and aged cheeses; also pleasant after dinner.
