Rosé
Castlèt Rosé
By Cascina Castlèt, Asti, Piemonte, Italy
A rosé made mostly from Barbera with a small part of Nebbiolo, from a brief skin contact and spring bottling.
Tasting notes
Delicate cherry pink with violet highlights. Fresh, pleasant bouquet with floral and fruity notes of raspberry, strawberry and redcurrant. Dry, well structured, delicate and elegant with long aromatic persistence, balanced in the mouth with marked freshness and a subtle tannin that adds to the finish. Alcohol 13.5% vol.
Pairs well with
A good aperitif, with starters, first courses and pizza; also good with fish, especially soups and roasted fish, fresh cheeses and vegetable dishes.
