Roero Riserva DOCG from the Mompissano vineyard in Canale d'Alba, made from 100% Nebbiolo with long ageing in wood.
Tasting notes
Intense garnet color. Wide, complex, dynamic nose with well-ripe fruity notes and spices such as peppercorn and cinnamon. Good structure with progressively opening fragrance. Long, persistent aftertaste with soft, well-balanced tannins.
Pairs well with
Roasts, boiled meat, braised meat, wild game. Also good with aged cheese.
