Red
Ansem
By Cascina Ca'Rossa, Roero, Piemonte, Italy
Barbera d'Alba DOC made from 100% Barbera grown in Canale d'Alba. The name Ansem, Piemontese dialect for 'together', refers to Angelo and Stefano's shared work running the estate.
Tasting notes
Intense ruby red with purple shades. Wide, elegant, charming nose with scents from cherry to blackberry. Sapid, persistent and medium-bodied on the palate.
Pairs well with
Langhe cuisine and savory dishes: agnolotti del plin, tajarin, rice and soup, red meat and medium-aged cheese. Also good as an aperitif with cold cuts.
