By Ca' Rome', Barbaresco, Piemonte, Italy
Barbera d'Alba from Serralunga d'Alba, aged 20 months in new barrique before further time in bottle.
Tasting notes
Deep garnet and ruby red with violet reflections. Rich aromas of fruit, especially plum and cherry, with notes of violet, cinnamon, cocoa and leather. On the palate it is embracing, dense, rich in soft tannins but well structured.
