Calosso DOC from the rediscovered Gamba di Pernice grape, named for the red stalk of its bunch. Ageing potential 5 to 10 years; 13.5% vol. Also offered as a 1.5 l magnum in a wooden box.
Tasting notes
Light ruby red with brilliant garnet reflections. Intense spicy and balsamic aromas with a note of green pepper. Dry, full-bodied and elegant, with soft tannins and notes of green pepper and oriental spices.
Pairs well with
Starters, risottos, red and white meats, cheeses.
