The estate's classic Barbera d'Asti, the first wine released, 6 to 9 months after harvest. Ruby red, lightly tannic and fresh, with an ageing potential of 5 to 10 years. Average production is 10,000 bottles; 13.5% vol on the shop page (14% on the tech sheet).
Tasting notes
Intense ruby red with violet reflections. Intense fruity aromas, with marasca cherry and raspberry standing out. Fresh, soft and round, with the classic Barbera acidity giving balance and harmony.
Pairs well with
Starters, first courses, red and white meats, cheeses.
