White
Gavi
By Agricola Gian Piero Marrone, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy
A 100% Cortese Gavi aged seven months in steel on fine lees. The estate presents it as a fresh, balanced aperitif wine.
Tasting notes
Fresh and balanced with good structure, with white fruit and flower aromas, lively on the palate and a classic almond finish typical of Cortese.
Pairs well with
Aperitif, served very cold; lean starters, first courses with fish sauces and fine fish dishes. In its home area it goes with tajarin, the egg pasta dressed with butter, Parmigiano and truffles.
