Red
Dolcetto d'Alba Superiore
By Olivero Mario, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy
The family wine, from the Cagnassi vineyard in Rodello, where altitude gives cool days and mild nights. Best young, but it will also age a few years in bottle.
Tasting notes
Intense ruby red with violet reflections. Plum and dark cherry with wild strawberries. Rich and juicy entry, with an almondy, persistent finish from the grape's typical tannins.
