Red
Bricco Ambrogio
By Olivero Mario, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy
A Barolo from a single 1,750 square metre vineyard in Roddi, aged 24 months in French oak tonneaux. The producer says it opens up with time.
Tasting notes
Garnet red with orange reflections. Aromas of small red fruits, citrus peel and light notes of rose and violet. Rich, persistent and finely tannic on the palate, with a long finish where the French oak ageing adds finesse.
