Barolo del Comune di La Morra
By Olivero Mario, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy
A Barolo blended from Nebbiolo of two La Morra vineyards, Annunziata and Boiolo, meant to show the commune rather than a single cru. It is approachable early but ages well, according to the producer.
Tasting notes
Intense garnet red with orange reflections. Balsamic hints balanced by small red fruits and violets. Rich and moderately austere on the palate, with violet and morello cherry returning on the finish.
