Vigin

By Maciot, Monferrato, Piemonte, Italy

Maciot Vigin

A Grignolino named for grandfather Vigin, from new plantings in the Miglietti-Roasino area of Cocconato, fermented on the stems.

Tasting notes

Firm and thirst-quenching, fruity and winey; a historically unconventional style that the critic Luigi Veronelli once called an anarchic maverick.

Pairs well with

Served chilled, with salami, first courses, white and red meats, aged cheeses.
